COEX

Choose 3.9M, 6.5M or 9M of COEX capacity.

MX20, MX30 and MX40 Pro combine video processing and LED control. The range scales from six to 20 Ethernet outputs, two to four optical outputs and three to four layers.

Conceptual illustration: Choose 3.9M, 6.5M or 9M of COEX capacity.

Capabilities

Inputs, outputs and layers scale with the controller.

MX20 covers compact systems, MX30 adds higher-capacity 4K and SDI workflows, and MX40 Pro provides the largest canvas, port count and layer resources in this group.

Frequently asked questions

How do MX20, MX30 and MX40 Pro differ in loading and Ethernet outputs?

MX20 supports 3.9 million pixels and six Gigabit Ethernet outputs; MX30 supports 6.5 million and ten outputs; MX40 Pro supports 9 million and twenty outputs.

Which source connections distinguish the three models?

MX20 provides HDMI 1.3 and 3G-SDI. MX30 adds HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4, DP 1.1 and two 3G-SDI inputs. MX40 Pro provides three HDMI 2.0 inputs, DP 1.2 and one 12G-SDI input; the listed HDMI and SDI paths include loop-through as specified.

What optical outputs are available?

MX20 and MX30 each provide two 10G optical outputs. MX40 Pro provides four 10G optical outputs with documented 20-port and 40-port modes.

Which software and calibration workflow is documented?

All three work with NovaStar VMP. Full-grayscale calibration uses CC3 with supported NovaStar cameras.

Can these controllers operate without video processing?

Each model supports both All-In-One Controller and Send-Only Controller modes, so the required mode should be selected for the actual signal workflow.

Which exact-model specifications are available?

The current English downloads are MX20, MX30 and MX40 Pro Specifications, each version 1.5.1.
